A Match Made in Heaven…

Product Insight reached out to specialized cloud provider CoreWeave when an approaching deadline was more then our in-house computing could handle. Our partners at Mevion Medical systems were on a tight deadline and needed PI to complete 3D renderings of their S250i-FIT Proton Therapy system. Our window to render the design animations was a matter of days, and our on-premise infrastructure would have required months to complete this project. CoreWeave set up the workflows in the cloud and facilitated the migration of the team’s animations, built on Arnold on-premise, onto CoreWeave. “Instead of taking two months, it took two days,” says PI’s Vice President of Engineering, Anthony Catacchio. The collaboration was a match made in heaven!
